New York Rural Water Association is actively seeking a Trainer/Technician full time position.  Must have a current water certification and multiple years experience at a water treatment plant.  Dual certification would be a plus.  Must be willing to plan and facilitate one day training sessions and work with operations specialists at their facilities regarding regulatory compliance issues.  Requires exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills including attention to detail, superior problem solving skills, ability to communicate with other staff, the general public, elected officials, primacy agency representatives and water/wastewater professionals.  Requires a high degree of organization.  Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a professional and courteous manner.  NY valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout New York are required.  Travel outside New York is required at least twice per year.  If interested please submit your resume, along with a cover letter including your availability and salary range to Patricia Scalera, CEO at scalera@nyruralwater.org    We thank you for your interest.
