Due to the rapidly evolving situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic, both here in New York State and nationwide, our Board of Directors has decided to cancel our 2020 Annual Technical Training Workshop & Exhibition in Lake Placid scheduled for May 18 - 20, 2020. The Board feels that we cannot, in good conscience and in consideration of all state and federal directives, continue with a conference that will bring together so many industry representatives and operators who are so vital to their communities and the people they serve. We plan to return to Lake Placid May 22 - 24, 2023.
Valerie Ogden will be reaching out to all the speakers to see if they wish to commit to the same topic for next year. We will make every effort to keep the training portion of the agenda the same for our 2021 Annual Workshop.
We apologize to our operators who depend on this training each year for renewal purposes. We will be ramping up our recertification training once the pandemic has subsided. In the meantime, we have negotiated a 20% discount with SunCoast Learning who provides pre-approved web-based learning accessible through our website. We sincerely appreciate our Associate Members and vendors who make this conference possible! We will be issuing refunds for the booth rental fees and ask for your patience as we hope to have those processed by April 14, 2020.
