Below is a link to the press release on the 2018 New York State Budget.  The  New York legislature officially passed the 2018 budget, which initiates the $2.5 billion Clean Water Infrastructure Act of 2017.  There are several components within this act that should be of interest, and could benefit, our small/rural utilities.  They include the continuation of the water infrastructure improvement act (WIIA), a land acquisition program for source water protection, water infrastructure emergency financial assistance program, a lead service line replacement grant program, and  an intermunicipal water infrastructure grants program.  Please take time to click on the link below to learn more.
