SepticSmart Week - September 19-23, 2016

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announces it's fourth annual SepticSmart Week - September 19-23, 2016.

SepticSmart, is an online national outreach program designed to promote proper septic system care and maintenance by homeowners launched by EPA on Nov. 15, 2012. EPA’s SepticSmart initiative is a nation-wide public education effort that aims to inform homeowners living on properties serviced by septic systems on the importance of properly maintaining their septic system and provide valuable resources to help homeowners make important decisions regarding their wastewater management needs. Failing septic systems can potentially contaminate drinking water sources.
